Yes! You may purchase a replacement pair, complete with rubber earring stoppers to aid you in retaining your earrings. Unfortunately we cannot offer to replace a single earring, as all Tessoro earrings are made in pairs. Each pair is carefully cut out of the same piece of bark and the gemstones are matched to compliment. Each strand of the gemstones will have enough variation that chances are the color of the stones currently in use will no longer be a good match for your lost pair. To offset this "second purchase" we are always happy to offer you a discount on the new pair.

Yes! We have crafted each piece with durability, under normal conditions in mind. The birch bark is coated with an acrylic polymer, which gives the bark superior strength and water resistance. With a bit of care and attention to cleaning, your jewelry will retain its beauty for years to come. We guarantee Tessoro jewelry against all defects in the materials used.

It is easy to keep your Tessoro jewelry in wonderful condition with minimal care. The birchbark has an acrylic polymer coating, giving it superior strength and water resistance. After wearing you may want to wipe with a soft cloth to remove surface dust before storing. Please avoid prolonged exposure to direct sun, excessive heat and chlorine or salt water, as this will deteriorate the polymer coating and can cause discoloration of some gemstones.

It is natural for all metals to oxidize with exposure to air. To assure that your jewelry stays bright for a longer time you may want to store it in a sealed plastic bag. The sterling silver on your jewelry may be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth. We do recommend doing this regularly to prevent a tarnish build up, which when heavy is far more difficult to remove.

Our bark comes from the forests near the greatest of all freshwater lakes, Lake Superior, in Duluth Minnesota. We work with McCabe Forest products, a small family owned company that provides birch and other wood for industry. Standing dead trees are marked for cutting; we harvest the bark from these trees. This assists in reducing air pollution, as this bark would ultimately be burned at the mills. Be assured that NO live trees were harmed in the creation of Tessoro jewelry.

As Tessoro jewelry is crafted with natural materials, some minor variations in the surface texture, color of the bark and moss as well as color and size of the gemstones will occur. These variations make your piece of Tessoro jewelry unique in its beauty.

Colors also may appear slightly different on your monitor, compared with the piece that has arrived; we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

Tessoro earrings and brooches arrive attractively carded. The jewelry card has information pertaining to the style you have chosen. The necklaces have a logo tag with product info on the reverse. All pieces come with a story card telling you more about how Tessoro jewelry is made. The Etruscan Collection, 23k gold leaf pieces arrive in our gold foil logo box and are not carded or tagged, the product information is on the box. All retail orders are individually boxed in our natural colored logo box ready for gift giving!

Retail orders typically will ship within 5 business days, if there is any delay you will be notified. Wholesale orders will generally require 1-3 weeks and are filled on a first come first served basis with priority given to existing customers. During show seasons (February-March and August-September) when the demand for Tessoro jewelry is at it's highest or with a larger order, more time may be required.

Upon receiving your order we will advise you if there are any extraordinary circumstances and give you an expected ship date.
